READERS AND LEADERS CLUB

ABOUT US

Reader and leaders network is from the initiative of two young entrepreneur Chinonso Nwakaeme and Elias Sunday. The reading network is a platform where books are reviewed and written by secondary school students. It was created as a way to support and encourage students love for reading by giving them opportunity to connect, on a personal level, with the books they are reading and then share their reactions, thoughts and opinions with family members, friends and kids around the world.
Readers and Leaders network exist to enhance student’s love for reading and give them the platform to write for a wider audience.
This idea came as a result of student’s lack of reading skills. One way we want to engage them into reading is to form a reading clubs in school.
We want to create a reading club that will connect, motivate and inspire children to cultivate a reading culture. Our reading club will be a relaxed environment that is more like home than school.

Readers and leaders network is a place where people who love stories and books meet regularly to read, tell stories and talk about what they read weekly. Readers and leaders network is a forum where readers can come together and talk about books and the reading experience.

THE READERS AND LEADERS NETWORK offers memberships to individual classes, schools, after school programs, churches and public libraries.

Periodically, we organise a “SUMMIT OF EXPRESSION” themed the Voice of tomorrow leaders. During the summit, each school that has Readers and Leaders Network will give a 10mins speech presentation on any issues affecting students. The summit is organized to sharpen the leadership skills of participants, in the summit students will be allow to express themselves.
