ABOUT INFORMATION GIVERS KIDS

Information Givers Kids is a child awareness organization committed to the protection, promotion and development of Africa children.

IGK was founded by the INFORMATION GIVERS TEAM some years ago to fight the abuses African Children face in the information age. The organization also create an atmosphere for children to discover, develop and explore their God given talent through talk show, talent presentation and stage performance.

IGK is purely an organization for children which focuses strength on making children relevant and noticed. We goes as far as working with school managements with the aim of impacting teachers through training on how to handle children with care.

As the “Voice of African Children” IGK desires to stand out to help suffering, hopeless and abandoned children in Africa to reach their desired goals in life.

The company works with UNICEF and other Child Right organization with the desire to make children relevant and visible neither in the home setting, society and the world at large.

The team joins voice together with other African children in the world especially in Africa in order to fight child labor, child Abandonment, child trafficking, molestation, child abuse and child discrimination.

We have memberships that spread across Nigeria, Ghana and South Africa comprising mostly of young people who have passion for children talents, education and developments.

In IGK we plan program that suits children in order to help them become better in their Academics studies, Communication skills, writing skills and physical fitness.

IGK, pledged to build “a world in which all girls and boys can enjoy childhood… where their safety and well-being are paramount and where they can develop in health, peace and dignity.”

WHY WE EXIST

According to the International Labour Organisa tion (ILO), about 10 million children less than 15 years in Africa are in formal employment, working long hours with poor pay and are exposed to substantial health hazards.

The motivation behind the children and Adult tutorial Education is to assist many people who cannot read, write and spell correctly. The mission of the company is to eradicate illiteracy by helping people become relevant in the society.

Education is a lasting legacy and when value is place on it - it will open doors for opportunities.

The team puts forces together to produce teaching and learning aids to help students to become what they ought to be. It may also interest you to know that we render assistance also in praying for our students. Because we discover that they may also be battling spiritual problems in their studies.

Above all, we also teach moral values and instinct the knowledge of God to them.

In our spelling class we bring out the reading and pronunciations skills imbedded in participants. We create a sustainable environment that brings out the best in people academically.

    HOLIDAY COACHING

The team uses the holiday coaching to collectively train, educate, teach and nurture children in various classes to become better in their academic pursuits. We understand that children/adults mostly learn by group discussions and we tend to bring it in our holiday coaching program to make participants understand any form of subject.

    ACADEMIC PERSONAL COACH

We have discovered that most people find it difficult to learn in a group mainly because of their shy nature, they prefer having a personal coach who will help them get through with their academic issues and build their reading and spelling skills.

In our Academic Personal Coach we teach children one on one, base on their interest in order to convert their problems to solutions.

    ADULT EDUCATION

The team builds Adult to be the best in their: reading, writing, spelling and pronunciations skills. Our mission is to train 2 million Adult on how to read, write and spell before 2020 and one way we want achieve this dream is to communicate and convince people through information and advertisement on the importance of education.

The adult education is open for traders, business man, workers, students, married men and women, house wives, illiterates and literate people who desire to be outstanding in speaking, writing and spelling.

    CHILDREN HOME LESSON

We coach children at their door step an hour after their school activities, in this coaching we tend to build a lastly relationship with participant to help them face challenges in their studies. In our children home lesson class we stir up participant desire to study and get acquainted with their daily academic activities.

They need a home teacher they trust and love to be able to help them in their academic life and we have capable, lovable and trustworthy professional teachers in our team that can enable participant learn and understand properly well.

    WRITING CLASS

Writing has been one of the major weak points to so many people. Lack of writing skill has contributed to high rate of failures in exams, workplaces and job interviews.

It is our greatest desire to see that people write better both in their workplace and school. The team writing class is an avenue to develop the writing skills of participants.

    CONTRACT LEARNING

Contract learning involves a student, participant or learners who have different things to learn in order to raise a higher level of expertise. With this need our team enters into a learning contracts, or agreement, with a trainer, facilitator, teacher or adviser in order to turn the competence into actions.

The Advantage of Contract learning is that the learner contributes to the total design of the learning process, they write their own objectives, determine what is going to be done, determine what resources are going to be used and design the evaluation criteria.

We discovered that as so much is designed and written by the learner, they own the project. This sense of ownership gives them the motivation to carry the project or contracts through to the finish.
